THE SERIES

Summit Talks is a content series, where Beatrice Fihn embarks on scenic hikes through Switzerland’s most iconic mountain landscapes alongside some of the world’s most influential diplomats to talk about the importance of international law and multilateralism. Step by step, Beatrice engages her guests in informal, unscripted conversations that delve into how the international community are trying to solve some of the major global issues of our time. Along the way, viewers gain insight not only into the pressing topics discussed but also into the often untold personal stories that shape each diplomat’s journey.

THE HOST

Beatrice Fihn is a Swedish lawyer, best known for her work as the Executive Director of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN). Beatrice led ICAN to win the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize for its work in highlighting the catastrophic humanitarian consequences of nuclear weapons and for its groundbreaking work in achieving the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. Since 2023, Beatrice has operated as Founder and Director of Lex International Fund, a philanthropic fund hosted by Swiss Philanthropy  Foundation, focused on supporting and strengthening international law as a tool for solving global challenges.
